PolyCom will be hosting the “Bloody Mary” Bar
Awards will be given for:
“Best Dressed”, “Team Theme”, “Putting Competition” “Long Drive and clostest to the Pin contests”
We are going to be having a “Shot Gun” start. Team Leaders and those who want Bloody Marys need to be there by 11:00am
There are $50.00 closest to the pin prizes on all the par 3 holes.
There are prizes for the Longest Drive Women’s and Mens, on the 5th hole (To see an artist rendition of the Long Drive competition click here.).
The awards ceremony will be at the Mare Island Club House.
JP will be our MC the post game award ceremony.
We have a record 83 players signed up and the team names seem to indicate that you are out there to get the prize for “Team Theme”. Plan B is aiming to get their third trophy (oddly enough they won last year and didn’t bring, oh---uh, get a trophy).
I kinda think Plan B was lacking the heart and soul of their team in 2010 (which probably explains why they won). Team Riswold is out this year as well as last year’s winners. That gives us a pretty open field. Everyone needs to step it up ‘cause Petersen, Batista, Meier and BMont are ready to CRUSH the competition!!!!!
I met with Jeff Riswolds recently and the Riswolds continue to be “bitter, Angry people” especially now as they are not able to be there this year (probably even more bitter than when we beat them at the 2008 Tourney).
It is the 16th annual Montgomery•Miller•Pattie Golf Tourney and Mare Island is letting us come back for an amazing 12th year!!! Price includes: Golf w/cart, range balls, Bloody Marys to start off the day, lunch, tee prizes, closest to the pin and long drive prizes and many other goodies.
Same format as last year. Best Ball scramble. As long as we have enough players we will have the shot gun start same as we did last year.
We are finalizing the details. Plan on arriving by 10:30am as Mare Island is expanding and there may be some detours that weren’t there last year. Bloody Mary’s will be served starting then. There will be a putting competition and prizes awarded for the winners. If you want to get out to Mare Island even earlier you can have breakfast at the Mare Island Golf Club Restaurant/Grill. Again, lunch is provided as part of your fees.
Looks like there is only one three-some left that we may have team up with Scott Manor's cat “Darrell Miller found a team so you’re safe there). We will be closing the event at the course so we can use up any leftover Mare Island money which CyberCSI has most generously agreed to provide for a 6th straight year.
